It's not a good idea to write two newsletters on the same day, but hey, this is important

Did the browser cut off the second part of the title?

So, the thing is, I forgot something really important today.

But let’s take a step back.

I want to be 100% transparent with you about why I started doing this newsletter. I wanted something that keeps me entertained, helps you grow, and stay up-to-date with everything design. And I plan to make some passive (?) income.

Yes, I also want to make money. I don’t want to deny it. But I want to make it in a way that it’s helping you, that it’s relevant for you, and that it’s interesting.

How can I achieve that? I will give my best. My best of everything. My best knowledge. My best jokes (why do I bother?). My best tips. And my best resources.

There will be a point in time when I will start selling some templates, ebooks, and other stuff. But I want them to give you *real* value. I don’t want quick wins. I want long-term victories.

💪 The announcement

The first step will be a fun challenge. Next week I’ll build 7 portfolios in Figma, take them to Framer, and share them with you. For FREE.

I will design and build a new one every single day. I’ll share these on X and LinkedIn as well, but my next newsletter (or the one after it) will be about this challenge.

I hope I can reach more people with this. I will only share stuff that I like and believe in. I'll use genuine content, no placeholders or generic text. A portfolio should have a vibe.

After this 1 week, I’ll remove the Free badge and charge something for them. But that’s not the point. The point is to get some fresh portfolio templates out there and inspire others.

Here’s a preview of the first one:

This is actually my own portfolio

I will also share my learnings with you. I believe in this #buildinpublic thing. Let’s see, wish me luck!

What can you do? If you love my work, share it. If you don’t, let me know what you would change. Hit that ‘Reply’ button. I read every message.

Aaand have a pixel-perfect day!
